Hello again!

My name is Miesha, I’m a Canadian, and since 2019 I’ve been living in Australia with my partner Rae. She and I own and care for a 15-acre farm with six Maremma sheepdogs and one little longhaired dachshund. We have created a paradisiacal home for ourselves with our many beautiful animals. If you ever come to visit us at Billabong Farm for the day, you’ll get to spend time with donkeys, cows, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, and geese!

Women Entrepreneurs from all walks of life

Rae and I spend much time on the road tending to her mobile animal acupuncture practice. And for every hour spent away, we spend an hour here working our farm. Yet, despite our already full, multifaceted life and work, I still have lots of time to provide essential IT services to several established clients. These days of remote work are amazing! Mostly, I do custom web development, maintenance, and graphic design for women entrepreneurs from all walks of life.

Farmsley™, Online Small Farm Mangement Software

For small-farm operators, jumbled paper notebooks and countless spreadsheets make keeping health and wellness records for livestock a challenge. Farmsley solves this common and precarious problem. Small-farm operators and hobby farmers can now maintain a detailed animal inventory online, with health and husbandry records in one reliable place. Moreover, it works on any device, even in the barn or paddock. Farmsley is an affordable and easy-to-use platform that helps farmers keep accurate records and produce better health outcomes for their livestock.

By My Side, Animal Grief Counselling

In this project, my client’s previous WordPress designer had stopped maintaining their proprietary theme. this resulted in broken plugins and disparity with newer versions of WordPress. Without the designer, the site was falling quickly into disrepair.

My challenge was to rebuild it using a contemporary, commercial, and well maintained and supported theme. This way, regardless of my involvement, any designer could easily and affordably enter this project long into the future.
